Often times we begin a journey, a task, an assignment, the beginning is exciting but in the middle things get so tough, we want to give up. God would encourage us to trust Him even when the going gets tough, a message captured throughout the Bible, epitomized in Christ' s statement in last book, Revelation , "I am the Alpha and the Omega” (Revelation 1:8). This is the theme in the encouragement to God's prophet Jeremiah at a difficult time in his ministry journey. God encourages Jeremiah to call on Him, for what He BEGAN HE WILL FINISH, "Moreover the word of the Lord came to Jeremiah a second time, while he was still shut up in the court of the prison, saying, “Thus says the Lord who made it, the Lord who formed it to establish it (the Lord is His name): ‘Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know" (Jeremiah 33:1-3, NKJV). Friend, don't lose hope or give up, what God BEGAN HE WILL FINISH.
